Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- One year or more experience in healthcare or customer service
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Proficiency with MS Office suite
- Commitment to patient confidentiality and privacy
- Willingness to undergo TB screening upon hire
- Ability to work onsite at CenterWell Senior Primary Care office in Henderson NV
Job Qualifications
- One year or more experience in healthcare or customer service in retail, hospitality, or call centers
- Ability to obtain and convey detailed information accurately
- Experience coordinating multiple tasks, resources, and schedules
- Proficiency in MS Office tools for reporting and data analysis
- Focus on patient satisfaction
- Willingness to participate in TB screening program upon hire
- Knowledge of medical terminology preferred
- Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems preferred
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish preferred
- Experience with value-based care model preferred
Job Duties
- Greet patients warmly and professionally upon arrival or phone calls
- Manage provider, ancillary, and laboratory schedules including chart preparation and insurance eligibility
- Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality of PHI
- Perform data entry and update patient charts
- Collect copays and handle billing tasks when necessary
- Navigate multiple applications including electronic health records for patient coordination
- Manage incoming calls, gather information, and communicate with clinical teams
- Maintain an organized and stocked reception area
- Provide community, social, and transportation information to patients
