  • willingness to work rotating weekend and holiday schedules
  • full-time availability for 40 hours per week
  • strong communication skills

  • knowledge of hospital policies

Job Duties

  • greets patients and visitors as soon as they approach the desk in a courteous manner
  • offers assistance and provides accurate information and directions
  • exhibits friendly and helpful behavior by anticipating and responding to the needs of patients and visitors
  • exhibits proficiency in computer use
  • ensures that visitors and callers receive accurate information
  • answers telephone calls promptly and appropriately
  • adheres to department policy regarding transferring calls and disseminating patient information
