Job Requirements
- Ability to successfully complete a CORI/SORI review
- The work environment involves exposure to typical office conditions including frequent use of computer, phone, printer, scanner, and copier
- Ability to perform job duties while sitting, with occasional standing, walking, or lifting/carrying up to 50 pounds
- Physical ability to perform essential job functions with reasonable accommodation
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or HiSET equivalent required
- One to three years of customer service or reception desk experience required
- Experience assisting people in person preferred
- Strong communication skills including listening, speaking, and writing
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Ability to speak and write English and Spanish or other languages a plus
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to learn and operate agency equipment, software, and databases
- Embraces and promotes diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives
- Self-directed and able to work independently under general guidance
Job Duties
- Greet and welcome visitors and clients in a professional and courteous manner
- Answer and direct incoming phone calls promptly and accurately
- Manage the agency’s front desk operations including screening visitors and handling inquiries
- Maintain organized and updated records and scheduling
- Assist clients with information and direct them to appropriate departments or resources
- Operate office equipment such as computers, phones, printers, scanners, and copiers
- Support administrative tasks and provide assistance to staff as needed
