Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous experience in a receptionist or customer service role preferred
  • proficient in Microsoft Office programs and other general office equipment
  • excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing
  • ability to provide a high level of customer service to internal and external customers
  • ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks effectively
  • ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • willingness to work some nights and weekends as needed

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred
  • previous experience in a receptionist or customer service role preferred
  • proficient in Microsoft Office programs and other general office equipment
  • organized thinker with exceptional attention to detail
  • excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing, and the ability to use correct grammar and spelling
  • strong analytical skills and an efficient process mindset
  • ability to provide a high level of customer service to internal and external customers, and to represent the organization in a professional manner
  • ability to effectively organize and prioritize work as well as concentrate on multiple tasks simultaneously
  • ability to work well in a fast-paced, dynamic organization
  • ability to work some nights and weekends, as required and/or assigned

Job Duties

  • Greet visitors, members, employees and other stakeholders in a friendly, professional manner
  • direct visitors to the appropriate person or department
  • answer phone calls, direct callers to the appropriate department, and/or take messages as needed
  • maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area
  • assist with incoming and outgoing mail and packages
  • coordinate schedules and meetings for internal and external audiences at the Service Center and Program Center
  • perform general clerical duties, such as preparing correspondence, filing, photocopying, and data entry
  • protect the confidentiality of sensitive information in the office
  • serve as a collaborative team member, working to advance the mission of Girl Scouts
  • support other administrative staff or departments as needed
  • perform other duties as required and/or assigned
