Job Requirements

  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • completed secretarial science program or six months clerical experience
  • proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and email
  • make independent decisions when circumstances warrant
  • knowledgeable of laws, regulations, and guidelines governing post acute care
  • implement and interpret programs, goals, objectives, policies, and procedures
  • perform proficiently in all competency areas including patient rights and safety
  • maintain professional working relationships
  • maintain confidentiality
  • understand and follow company policies
  • display integrity and professionalism

Job Qualifications

  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • successfully completed a secretarial science program from accredited college or university or have a minimum of six months experience in a clerical role
  • proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and email
  • knowledgeable of practices and procedures in post acute care facility
  • maintain confidentiality of proprietary and confidential information
  • understand and follow company policies including harassment and compliance procedures
  • display integrity and professionalism by adhering to Life Care's Code of Conduct

Job Duties

  • Serve as the first point of contact for guests and visitors in person and via phone
  • effectively operate the facility phone and paging system
  • exhibit excellent customer service and a positive attitude towards patients
  • assist in the evacuation of patients
  • demonstrate dependable, regular attendance
  • concentrate and use reasoning skills and good judgment
  • communicate and function productively on an interdisciplinary team
