Job Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent
- completed secretarial science program or six months clerical experience
- proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and email
- make independent decisions when circumstances warrant
- knowledgeable of laws, regulations, and guidelines governing post acute care
- implement and interpret programs, goals, objectives, policies, and procedures
- perform proficiently in all competency areas including patient rights and safety
- maintain professional working relationships
- maintain confidentiality
- understand and follow company policies
- display integrity and professionalism
Job Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent
- successfully completed a secretarial science program from accredited college or university or have a minimum of six months experience in a clerical role
- proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and email
- knowledgeable of practices and procedures in post acute care facility
- maintain confidentiality of proprietary and confidential information
- understand and follow company policies including harassment and compliance procedures
- display integrity and professionalism by adhering to Life Care's Code of Conduct
Job Duties
- Serve as the first point of contact for guests and visitors in person and via phone
- effectively operate the facility phone and paging system
- exhibit excellent customer service and a positive attitude towards patients
- assist in the evacuation of patients
- demonstrate dependable, regular attendance
- concentrate and use reasoning skills and good judgment
- communicate and function productively on an interdisciplinary team
