- Organized and detailed in work performance

Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience in a customer service or clerical role preferred
- good communication skills
- ability to work well in a team environment
- genuine caring for elderly and disabled individuals
- knowledge of basic office equipment and software
- familiarity with confidentiality and data protection principles
Job Duties
- Manage the telephone and switchboard
- operate paging and telephone system as required
- answer calls timely and courteously
- direct calls promptly and accurately
- assist visitors upon arrival to the facility
- greet visitors courteously
- provide directions or contact the person visitors have come to see
- ensure all visitors and vendors sign in
- demonstrate customer service skills via phone and in person including smiling, effective greetings, and offering assistance
- maintain a neat and orderly work area
- demonstrate awareness of environment and focus attention on front entrance
- perform clerical duties including assisting administrator with tasks and projects, mail handling, filing, preparing informational materials, data entry, and ordering supplies
- attend in-service education programs
- maintain confidentiality of resident and facility information
- protect residents from neglect, mistreatment, and abuse
- protect residents' personal property
- perform other duties as directed by supervisor or administrator
