Job Duties

  • Outreach to potential new patients and collecting patient charges
  • ensure quality customer problems are resolved
  • initiate coordination of care documents on behalf of patients
  • maintain the reception area, appointment scheduling, and verification of insurances
  • answer incoming calls and take and distribute accurate messages
  • greet visitors and determine the nature of their visit
  • respond to routine inquiries from internal or external sources
  • answer phone calls utilizing a Genesys system
  • ensure accurate and timely processing of all requests by taking appropriate action such as scheduling appointments, taking messages, transferring calls to appropriate staff
  • ensure thorough records are maintained by documenting discussion, messages and actions taken to process inquiries
  • resolve patient issues through independent problem solving with a goal of first call resolution
