Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum of one year experience in a medical office preferred
  • experience in appointment scheduling
  • experience in data entry helpful
  • experience in insurance billing helpful
  • ability to count money, make change, and reconcile daily collections
  • ability to understand verbal and written instructions
  • excellent public relations skills
  • basic math and problem-solving abilities
  • ability to memorize and maintain confidentiality
  • availability for infrequent local travel
  • fully vaccinated against COVID-19

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum of one year experience in a medical office preferred
  • experience in appointment scheduling
  • experience in data entry helpful
  • experience in insurance billing helpful
  • good typing skills and computer working knowledge
  • excellent organizational skills
  • ability to work in a multitasked environment
  • conversational Spanish preferred
  • knowledge of CPT and ICD-9-CM coding helpful

Job Duties

  • Answer and direct telephone calls
  • schedule appointments
  • process paperwork for daily clinic operations
  • collect patient payments
  • assist and direct all contacts
  • provide excellent customer service
  • enter, verify and maintain patient billing information
  • maintain confidentiality
