Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Prefer two year college degree or equivalent with an emphasis in a business curriculum
  • Medical background preferred
  • Demonstrated compassion and dedication to quality work
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work well in a team environment
  • Availability to work full-time Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Job Duties

  • Perform a variety of clerical and administrative duties to assist the assigned supervisor
  • Coordinate work within the department and with other departments
  • Respond to inquiries or requests for information
  • Interact in a courteous, tactful, friendly, and cooperative manner while handling issues, complaints, inquiries, and questions
  • Read and handle correspondence and memos directed to administration by writing or telephoning responses or redirecting to proper parties
  • Prepare preliminary work on various projects
  • Prepare, receive, and direct inter-office and U.S. mail
  • Organize, monitor, and maintain general administrative records and filing systems
  • Provide customer service to residents and families
  • Review and maintain time and attendance records for supervisor approval
  • Enter missed punches for staff and agency employees and reconcile hours daily
  • Coordinate room setups and refreshments for meetings and conferences
  • Provide innovative healthcare solutions by creating and implementing new ideas and concepts to improve systems and processes
