Job Duties
- Model company culture, values, standards, and best operational practices based on the We Believe Behavioral Framework
- Support the Perfect Patient Experience (PPE) process by helping to get patients to come into the office and ensuring their comfort during visits
- Schedule appointments that allow healthcare providers to have smooth, productive days
- Interact and communicate with patients and guests in the reception area during their wait time
- Answer telephones promptly and handle all calls efficiently and thoroughly
- Complete all daily tasks on the front office checklist
- Post payments to patient accounts according to company policies
- Act as a subject matter expert in practice management systems for patient registration and e-check in
- Efficiently check in patients, obtain all necessary consents, and promptly notify the back office of patient arrivals
- Confirm patient appointments in line with office confirmation policies or at least two days in advance
- Ensure all patient messages from the Contact Center are returned and resolved promptly
- Actively participate in daily morning huddles, monthly team meetings, and other required meetings
- Understand business imperatives and how the role impacts key metrics
- Demonstrate stewardship of the PDS brand making decisions aligned with the brand framework
- Support clinicians on patient education regarding the Mouth-Body Connection
- Maintain professional appearance and demeanor in accordance with company policies
- Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements
- Perform other duties as assigned
