Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous experience as a receptionist or in a front desk role, ideally in a health care setting
  • strong verbal and written communication skills
  • excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with office equipment
  • ability to work independently, multitask, and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
  • professional appearance and demeanor
  • compassionate, customer-service-oriented approach with sensitivity to residents and families
  • availability to work 12-hour shifts, including weekends and holidays

Job Duties

  • Greet and assist residents, families, and visitors in a warm, professional manner
  • answer and direct incoming phone calls to the appropriate departments or staff
  • manage the front desk and reception area to ensure it is clean, organized, and inviting
  • provide information to visitors and callers regarding the facility, policies, and services offered
  • maintain visitor logs and ensure compliance with security and safety protocols
  • schedule and coordinate appointments for residents, staff, and visitors as needed
  • assist with administrative tasks, such as filing, data entry, and maintaining records
