Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum one year of relevant administrative or clerical experience
  • Proficiency in English
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office software
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Capability to work effectively within a multi-cultural environment

Job Qualifications

  • One year of administrative assistant, reception, or clerical experience
  • Working knowledge (experience preferred) with software programs such as Word, Outlook, and Excel
  • Proficiency in English including speaking, reading, and writing
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a challenging multi-cultural environment
  • Ability to relate to and work with ill, disabled, elderly, emotionally upset, and sometimes hostile people within the facility

Job Duties

  • Maintain sign in/sign out log
  • Make sure all visitors and residents sign in and out
  • Act as resident gatekeeper ensuring residents without privileges do not leave the facility
  • Notify supervisor when stepping away from work area
  • Report known or suspected incidents of fraud or resident abuse to the Administrator
  • Answer telephones
  • Greet visitors and direct them to different places
