Job Requirements
- One year or more of relevant work experience
- Strong customer service background
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Good communication skills
- Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
- Availability to work Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
- Willingness to participate in TB screening program
- Commitment to adhere to organizational policies and quality standards
Job Qualifications
- One year or more of experience working in a healthcare setting preferred
- Experience in customer service roles in retail, hospitality, or call centers considered
- Passionate about contributing to patient care improvement
- Excellent customer service and phone etiquette
- Team player with a positive attitude
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and highly organized
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Access
- Knowledge of value-based care models preferred
- Familiarity with medical terminology preferred
- Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems preferred
- Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
Job Duties
- Receive and correctly route incoming and outgoing telephone calls
- Accommodate visitors promptly, courteously, and accurately
- Operate switchboard or multi-line phone and maintain long distance call logs
- Take and distribute accurate messages
- Greet visitors, determine nature of visit, issue visitor passes, and maintain visitor logs
- Alert appropriate party of visitor arrival or direct visitors to correct office or employee
- Respond to routine inquiries regarding organization’s location, hours, and contact information
- Book meeting rooms, type, organize and distribute mail, and manage courier packages
- Perform basic administrative, clerical, operational, customer support, and computational tasks
- Work under close supervision within established policies and guidelines
