Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- one to three years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
- ability to communicate in English orally and in writing
- ability to work 5 days a week, 8 to 10 hours per day
- must be able to talk and hear in person and via phone
- must be able to walk and reach with hands and arms
- must be able to sit or stand as needed
- manual dexterity for data entry
- ability to lift up to 10 pounds regularly and occasionally lift 25-30 pounds
- must have good vision including close, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
- ability to follow instructions and company policies
- punctual and reliable
- able to interact effectively with co-workers
- ability to accept constructive criticism
- must maintain 100% training status on manufacturer and systems
- must use company databases and software properly
- able to attend meetings and training sessions as scheduled
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- ability to read, write, and communicate the English language effectively
- ability to communicate orally or in written form effectively with co-workers, potential and current clients
- ability to read, analyze, and interpret written and verbal instructions in English
- ability to write routine reports and correspondence including grammatically correct emails and text messages in English
- ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, clients, and customers in English
- ability to calculate figures and amounts by adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing
- ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
- ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
- experience or training in related duties is preferred
- demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality
- excellent keyboarding skills
Job Duties
- Operates a multi-line phone system and screens incoming calls as requested by managers
- answers all incoming calls in a prompt, polite, professional manner, transferring them to the appropriate person or department quickly, or operating the dealership paging system to call individuals to the phone
- minimizes the time callers are on hold and checks back with them frequently to ensure they wish to continue holding
- takes detailed messages when call cannot be completed including caller's name, telephone number, time of call, and information requested, and delivers to appropriate party in a timely manner
- develops knowledge of basic dealership information in order to respond to callers who have general inquiries
- scans company documents into scan system as required daily
- performs general office duties such as typing, operating office machines, and sorting mail
- protects organization's values by keeping customer information confidential
- attends meetings and training sessions as scheduled
- follows policies and procedures as set forth in Employee Handbook
- reports for work on time, follows directions, interacts effectively with co-workers, understands and follows rules and procedures, and accepts constructive criticism
- uses all company databases and software according to company trained process and procedures
- maintains a 100% training status on all manufacturer and systems used by the company at all times
- performs other duties as assigned by management
