Job Duties
- Assists in other reception areas, Minor Care and Women’s Center as needed, directed and trained
- Maintains work area and lobby
- Attend meetings as required
- Occasional work hours outside 8:00 to 5:00, as requested
- Performs related work as assigned by Patient Relations Manager or designee
- Greets patients in a prompt and courteous manner
- Obtains pertinent patient information, scans insurance cards, and updates records accordingly
- Documents changes in EMR chart
- Answer internal telephone and provides basic information
- Locates samples and written prescriptions for patient pick-up
- Collects co-pays and payments
- Performs closing functions per departmental guidelines
- Maintains patient and clinic confidentiality
- Schedules follow-up and office visit appointments as needed
