Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in a receptionist or administrative role preferred
  • Ability to communicate clearly and professionally
  • Proficiency with multi-line phone systems and computer applications
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to work full time
  • Willingness to learn and follow company policies
  • Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset

Job Duties

  • Acknowledge smile and greet patients upon arrival or dismissal
  • Respond to patient questions and or concerns according to company policies
  • Answer telephones
  • Schedule appointments
  • Maintain appointment book
  • Confirm appointments
  • Follow up on no shows or cancellation of appointments
  • Register patients on sign in sheet
  • Perform chart filing
  • Handle cash transactions
  • Check voicemail daily
  • Maintain a clean and friendly waiting area for patients
  • Perform other duties as requested by the office manager or the practice development manager
  • Support strategic local marketing initiatives that help drive brand awareness and new patient growth
  • Perform all other duties as assigned
