Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 6 months related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Ability to communicate effectively
  • Proficiency in operating telephone and paging systems
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Positive attitude and professional demeanor
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize duties efficiently
  • Availability to work full time Monday through Friday

Job Duties

  • Answer telephone determine nature of call and relay information within the facility as necessary
  • Maintain a positive attitude with coworkers and supervisor
  • Operate paging and telephone system and locate personnel as needed
  • Maintain a current list of residents by name and room number and emergency contacts
  • Provide directions and information to visitors guests residents and sales representatives
  • Report suspicious persons or information to supervisor immediately
  • Ensure guests and visitors abide by existing rules
  • Create and maintain an atmosphere of warmth personal interest positive emphasis and calm environment
  • Maintain confidentiality of all pertinent resident information
  • Operate various office equipment as needed
  • Attend and participate in in-service and on-the-job training
  • Ensure residents rights to fair and equitable treatment self determination privacy and civil rights are followed
  • Participate in quality assessment and improvement program activities
  • Assist with administrative duties
  • Ensure administrative supplies are replenished
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
