Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent G.E.D., including courses in typing
  • experience as a receptionist with public contact desirable
  • experience with PC and related software preferred
  • knowledge of telephone etiquette, interpersonal communication, typing formats for correspondence and documents, calendaring and filing
  • must successfully pass pre-employment testing including criminal background check, drug test, TB screen test, and health screen
  • agreement to sign arbitration agreement as a condition of employment

Job Qualifications

  • knowledge of telephone etiquette, interpersonal communication, typing formats for correspondence and documents, calendaring and filing

Job Duties

  • Operates multi-positioned telephone switchboard to relay incoming, outgoing and inner-office calls
  • greets visitors, determines their needs, and contacts the proper person
  • answers general questions and gives general information to visitors or callers
  • performs a variety of clerical duties such as posting data, typing reports, sorting and distributing mail and phone messages
  • schedules and coordinates tele-conference calls
  • sorts and distributes mail and other inter-office materials
  • schedules and coordinates room calendars
  • accurately completes assignments according to directions and performs other duties as required
