Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience in receptionist or administrative role preferred
  • Ability to operate office equipment including telephone and computer systems
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Attention to detail and responsibility
  • Ability to work under supervision and follow instructions

Job Qualifications

  • Previous receptionist or administrative experience preferred
  • Proficiency in using telephone systems and general office equipment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
  • Detail-oriented with good organizational skills
  • Ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality

Job Duties

  • Answers incoming telephone calls, determines purpose of callers, and forwards calls to appropriate personnel or department
  • Retrieves messages from general voicemail and forwards to appropriate personnel
  • Welcomes on-site visitors, determines nature of business, follows sign-in protocols, and announces visitors to appropriate personnel
  • Receives mail and delivers it appropriately
  • Processes outgoing mail in a timely manner
  • Performs clerical duties such as scanning, filing, typing, photocopying, and collating
  • Assists other departments as directed by manager
  • Sets up and breaks down reception area and conference room, including drinks, snacks, and supplies
  • Supports distribution of front office supplies and monthly orders
