Job Requirements

  • must have high school diploma or equivalent
  • prior front desk, administrative, or office experience preferred
  • ability to work in a fast-paced environment and follow oral and written instructions
  • patience, excellent organization skills, and assertiveness
  • professional appearance
  • pleasant and helpful personality both in person and via telephone
  • proficiency with computer systems, system applications, and other office equipment
  • ability to work well and cooperate with fellow employees
  • ability to meet all local health regulations and pass pre/post-employment physical exam if required including drug screening, criminal background check, and reference inquiry

Job Duties

  • welcome visitors and respond to inquiries in a timely fashion
  • guide and navigate visitors, residents, and patients around the facility where necessary
  • receive telephone calls, transferring where necessary and taking messages as appropriate
  • ensure the presentation and tidiness of the reception area at all times
  • provide administrative support as needed including but not limited to filing, data entry, and typing correspondence
  • deal with payments for any ordered lunches or meals, including maintaining receipt books and proper cash box management
  • make petty cash disbursements and deposits, keeping accurate records of each transaction
  • protect residents' rights by maintaining the confidentiality of personal and financial information
  • maintain operations by following policies and procedures
  • report needed changes
  • carry out such other duties as may be required by the Administrator
