Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous clerical or receptionist experience preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively and deal tactfully with staff and public
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of resident and facility information
- Physical ability to sit, stand, walk, and lift up to 25 pounds
- Must meet health requirements including annual TB screening and physical exam
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Compliance with dress code
- Availability to work in a 24-hour skilled care environment
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in reception or clerical roles preferred
- Proficient in operating office equipment including computer, copier, and fax
- Strong communication skills both oral and written
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate integrity
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently
- Ability to remain calm in emergency situations
Job Duties
- Create and maintain an atmosphere of warmth and positive emphasis throughout the facility
- Follow reception schedule and instructions as directed
- Greet visitors cheerfully and provide guided tours
- Operate telephone system and direct calls appropriately
- Receive inquiries and release information per procedures
- Maintain current resident files and emergency contact lists
- Ensure visitors comply with rules and report suspicious persons
- Assist with administrative duties including typing, filing, and posting accounts
- Receive, sort and distribute mail
- Operate office equipment following safety procedures
- Maintain work areas neat and clean
- Order supplies and ensure delivery completeness
- Assist department heads with administrative tasks
