Job Requirements

  • Current cosmetology or barber student or recent graduate
  • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Basic computer skills
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Commitment to professionalism and customer satisfaction

Job Qualifications

  • Previous experience in customer service preferred
  • Ability to communicate clearly and warmly
  • Basic knowledge of retail products is a plus
  • Ability to multitask in a busy environment

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Job Duties

  • Warmly greet customers
  • Communicate and educate customers on Great Clips processes including Online Check-in and Wait Time Monitor
  • Process transactions and issue receipts
  • Maintain general knowledge of retail products and make recommendations
  • Manage the flow of customers between check in and service
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the front desk and lobby area
  • Manage answering phone
  • Inform customers about services
  • Update customer records with contact information
  • Assist stylists in maintaining salon cleanliness and sanitation
  • Commit to work a flexible schedule including peak times
  • Dedicate to great customer service
  • Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Resolve customer issues effectively and efficiently
