Job Requirements

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred
  • must have a current driver's license and auto liability insurance
  • able to sit for prolonged periods and work on the computer or related equipment
  • able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
  • able to perform repetitive movements over long periods
  • able to traverse the office building to pick up mail

Job Qualifications

  • Superior interpersonal and customer service skills
  • good verbal communication skills
  • ability to understand and follow written and oral instructions
  • ability to operate available equipment such as phones, calculators, or scanners
  • proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software

Job Duties

  • Greets all clients, visitors, and guests
  • determines the purpose of each person's visit, then directs or escorts him or her to the appropriate location
  • prepares name badges for visitors
  • answers, screens, and directs phone calls as appropriate
  • maintains lobby and reception area in an orderly appearance
  • receives mail, documents, packages, and courier deliveries on behalf of employees, then delivers or distributes items as appropriate
  • performs administrative and clerical support tasks, as required
  • performs basic filing and recordkeeping, as required
  • provides backup assistance with on and off-site training setup, food, and hotel reservations
  • places orders for all company-related floral needs
  • may provide backup assistance in the mailroom as needed
  • attends meetings and training courses as required
  • performs other related duties, as required
