Job Duties

  • Greet all customers entering the showroom
  • acknowledge and smile at any customer within 10 feet while walking around the dealership
  • follow the morning checklist to open and start the day
  • answer phone calls politely and professionally and transfer calls to the correct employee
  • take detailed messages if employees are unavailable
  • stock in new cars and assign stock numbers
  • prepare new car jacket, stock tag and addendums
  • tag keys for new units received
  • prepare owner manual packets and file manuals
  • deliver keys to Service department
  • purchase new units into accounting system
  • walk the showroom every 60 minutes to maintain cleanliness and coffee area
  • prepare reports, correspondence and memos
  • communicate with management about concerns or situations
