Job Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- must be a U.S. Citizen due to clients under U.S. government contracts
- all employment is contingent upon the successful clearance of a background check
- prior experience in a fast-paced office environment
- rare local travel as required
- ability to sit for extended periods
- ability to regularly lift and carry up to 25 lbs
- ability to walk and move around multiple floors and offices

- experience with front desk and or office administration preferred
- highly proficient in Google Suite and MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) preferred

Job Duties
- Support the front desk reception area and help oversee the office environment
- serve as point of contact for the front desk
- greet and check-in visitors, answer the main line, accept packages, and keep the lobby area neat and tidy
- monitor and maintain supplies for the office including daily stocking and ordering of snacks, beverages, and break room supplies
- serve as the point of contact for company orders
- assist with weekly office lunch setup and monthly birthday celebrations along with event planning as requested
- receive, sort, and distribute incoming mail and packages and prepare outgoing mail for distribution
- keep the office area clean and tidy
- maintain office filing and storage systems including faxing, scanning, and copying documents
- work with the Office Assistant to greet visitors, follow security protocol and direct guests to the correct staff member
- assist with answering phones, transferring calls, and distributing accurate messages
- follow visitor protocol and process visitor request forms
- assist with documentation and logging (data entry) activities
- support teams with various administrative tasks
- assist the Office Assistant with managing office tasks, communications, coordinating appointments, meetings, travel arrangements, maintaining staff administrative records, typing documents, and other related duties as needed or when the Office Assistant is out of the office
