Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree
  • Prior experience or training in dentistry, insurance, or business preferred
  • Ability to communicate effectively both in person and on the phone
  • Professional appearance and demeanor
  • Knowledge of office technology applications and patient insurance processes
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Ability to handle confidential patient information

Job Duties

  • Model company culture, values, standards, and best operational practices
  • Support the perfect patient experience process
  • Schedule appointments to ensure smooth provider days
  • Interact with patients and guests in the reception area
  • Answer telephones promptly and efficiently
  • Complete daily front office checklist tasks
  • Post payments to patient accounts
  • Manage patient registration and e-check in processes
  • Check in patients efficiently and notify back office
  • Confirm patient appointments in advance
  • Return and resolve patient messages from Contact Center
  • Participate actively in morning huddles and team meetings
  • Understand business imperatives impacting role metrics
  • Uphold the PDS Brand framework
  • Support clinicians on patient education regarding Mouth-Body Connection
  • Maintain professional appearance and demeanor
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and regulations
  • Perform other duties as assigned
