Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year of customer service or receptionist experience
  • ability to work effectively with internal and external customers while maintaining a composed professional demeanor
  • ability to use telecommunication devices to receive and direct calls
  • excellent command of verbal and written English
  • adherence to confidentiality policies and HIPAA regulations
  • ability to problem-solve with creative and critical thinking skills

  • availability to float to other locations with mileage reimbursement

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1 year of customer service or receptionist experience
  • excellent command of verbal and written English
  • positive interpersonal communication dynamic
  • strong organizational skills
  • ability to problem-solve using creative and critical thinking
  • ability to multi-task and handle interruptions effectively
  • basic technology skills including Microsoft Office programs preferred
  • experience with Workday is a plus
  • high school diploma or equivalent

Job Duties

  • Greet and direct visitors and patients to appropriate destinations
  • perform clerical and receptionist duties in accordance with hospital and departmental policies
  • receive and direct incoming calls to appropriate departments and patient rooms using telecommunication devices
  • maintain confidentiality of protected patient and employee information according to HIPAA regulations
  • communicate effectively with internal and external customers while maintaining a professional demeanor
  • prioritize tasks and handle multiple demands in a fast-paced environment
  • perform independent tasks as assigned with a strong sense of ownership
