Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least 2 years experience in clerical or general office support
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Ability to follow organizational mission, vision, and values
  • Ability to operate multi-line telephone systems and office equipment
  • Availability to work the specified schedule including every other weekend
  • Ability to lift, carry, push or pull occasional office materials
  • Willingness to undergo background checks including WebCheck, BCI and FBI fingerprinting
  • Eligibility to work in accordance with State of Ohio employment regulations

Job Qualifications

  • At least 2 years experience with clerical or general office support
  • Receptionist experience at a hospital or other medical setting is preferred
  • Must have very strong customer service skills
  • Ability to enthusiastically follow and model the Lindner Center of HOPE mission, vision and values

Job Duties

  • Greets all visitors in a respectful manner as they enter the main lobby
  • Assists all callers, visitors and staff members with questions and provides directions to the appropriate areas of LCOH
  • Answers the general information telephone lines and directs callers to the appropriate extensions
  • Operates a multi-line telephone system
  • Prepares the reception area for daily operations insuring that all front activities are fully operational
  • Operate specialized office equipment and maintain needed supplies for operation
  • Monitors visitor access and issues passes as appropriate
  • Signs for deliveries when necessary and notifies recipients
  • Performs other duties as assigned
