Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Six months clerical experience or completion of secretarial science program
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and email
  • Ability to make independent decisions
  • Knowledge of post-acute care facility laws and procedures
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Strong communication skills and professionalism
  • Ability to sit, stand, bend, lift, push, pull, stoop, walk, reach, and move intermittently during working hours
  • Must read, write, speak, and understand English

Job Qualifications

  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • Successfully completed a secretarial science program from an accredited college or university or have a minimum of six months experience in a clerical role
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and email
  • Knowledgeable about practices, procedures, laws, regulations, and guidelines governing post-acute care facilities
  • Ability to make independent decisions when necessary
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality of information
  • Commitment to professionalism and adherence to company policies and Code of Conduct

Job Duties

  • Serve as the first point of contact for guests and visitors in person and via phone
  • Operate the facility phone and paging system effectively
  • Exhibit excellent customer service and a positive attitude towards patients
  • Assist in the evacuation of patients during emergencies
  • Demonstrate dependable, regular attendance
  • Use reasoning skills and good judgment in daily tasks
  • Communicate and function productively on an interdisciplinary team
