Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Proven experience as a receptionist or in a similar role
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency with office equipment and computer software
  • Ability to maintain a professional and courteous demeanor
  • Availability for on-call scheduling
  • Ability to multitask and handle administrative duties efficiently

Job Qualifications

  • High school graduate preferred
  • Three months to twelve months work as a receptionist is desired
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
  • Experience with various office equipment
  • Demonstrated computer proficiency including Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Publisher and Word
  • Demonstrated compatibility with PHS's mission and operating philosophies
  • Ability to read, write, speak and understand English to communicate with all customers

Job Duties

  • Provide excellent customer service and public relations
  • Answer and transfer incoming telephone calls in a courteous and professional manner
  • Serve as an information resource for residents and visitors
  • Perform a variety of administrative duties as assigned
  • Operate office equipment such as copy machines, multi-line phones, postage meter, and fax machines
  • Use computer programs including Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Publisher, and Word
  • Communicate effectively in English with all customers
