Job Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Completion of a secretarial science program or six months of clerical experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and email
- Ability to make independent decisions
- Knowledge of post-acute care laws and regulations
- Adherence to company policies and compliance procedures
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as sitting, standing, bending, lifting, pushing, pulling, stooping, walking, reaching, and moving intermittently during work hours
Job Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Successfully completed a secretarial science program from accredited college or university OR have a minimum of six months experience in a clerical role
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and email
- Knowledgeable of practices and procedures as well as laws, regulations, and guidelines governing functions in post-acute care facility
- Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professionalism
Job Duties
- Serve as the first point of contact for guests and visitors in person as well as via phone in a friendly and professional manner
- Effectively operate the facility phone and paging system
- Exhibit excellent customer service and a positive attitude towards patients
- Assist in the evacuation of patients
- Demonstrate dependable, regular attendance
- Concentrate and use reasoning skills and good judgment
- Communicate and function productively on an interdisciplinary team
