Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic skills in word processing preferred
- One year of experience with a multi-line phone preferred
- Ability to sit, walk, stand, bend, and lift or carry objects up to 20 pounds
- Ability to use a computer for data entry and communication
- Effective communication skills with participants, co-workers, volunteers, and vendors
- Adherence to agency safety, security, and emergency procedures
- Ability to work Monday through Friday, 12:30 PM to 5:00 PM schedule
Job Qualifications

- Ability to maintain professionalism and warmth with visitors and callers
Job Duties
- Answers callers and provides basic information about agency functions
- Transfers calls to appropriate staff and takes messages as needed
- Greets participants, visitors, and guests in a professional and welcoming manner
- Ensures all visitors follow established sign-in and security procedures
- Provides directions or assistance to appropriate offices, activities, or staff
- Distributes printed material to callers and guests as needed
- Provides data entry and internet research support to other staff members
- Performs clerical duties as needed
- Maintains and organizes front desk resources including reference materials and procedures
- Ensures adherence to front desk, safety, and security protocols during coverage
- Maintains a clean, organized, and welcoming front desk and lobby area
- Creates and maintains tax appointment schedule
- Adheres to agency cleanliness, safety, and infection control standards
