Job Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • One year of multiline phone experience or reception duties preferred
  • Typing skills and 10-key proficiency required
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively
  • Organizational and planning skills needed
  • Must be able to sit and/or stand for extended periods
  • Light lifting and carrying
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
  • Must comply with HIPAA laws and company policies
  • Legal authorization to work in the country

Job Qualifications

  • Proficient computer skills preferred
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to plan and organize tasks effectively

  • Understanding of confidentiality and HIPAA compliance

Job Duties

  • Answer incoming calls in a prompt, courteous manner
  • Assist callers by quickly determining needs and directing calls to appropriate personnel or department
  • Communicate efficiently and effectively to obtain, give, and exchange information
  • Greet and direct visitors professionally
  • Ensure guests are identified and registered before allowing access to secured areas
  • Partner with building maintenance for office upkeep and cleanliness
  • Coordinate office vendors to ensure efficient operations
  • Receive premium payments, prepare receipts, and secure premiums
  • Maintain the lobby as a professional first impression of PacificSource
  • Assist in developing and maintaining policies and procedures
  • Complete clerical duties such as address changes, documenting survey results, preparing packets
  • Maintain office supply inventory and manage orders
  • Attend to safety of employees and guests without endangering self or others
  • Provide frontline communication and relay urgent or emergency information
  • Assist with clerical tasks of other departments as needed
  • Meet department and company performance and attendance expectations
  • Follow privacy policies and HIPAA regulations
  • Perform other duties as assigned
