Job Requirements

  • High school equivalent/GED
  • 1+ years related experience as secretary/receptionist
  • able to stand and walk for extended periods
  • detail-oriented and organized with problem solving ability
  • strong verbal communication skills
  • able to maintain composure during stressful situations
  • proficiency with PCs, Microsoft Office, and general office equipment

Job Qualifications

  • High school equivalent/GED
  • 1+ years related experience as secretary/receptionist
  • able to stand and walk for extended periods
  • detail-oriented and organized with good problem solving ability
  • notable client service, communication, and relationship building skills
  • strong verbal communication skills
  • able to maintain composure during stressful situations
  • demonstrated ability to use PCs, Microsoft Office suite, and general office equipment such as printers, copy machine, and fax machine

Job Duties

  • Answer telephone, screen and direct/relay calls
  • provide organizational information to callers as needed
  • greet persons entering organization in a friendly and helpful manner
  • provide assistance and direction to patients, customers, vendors and employees at main entrances
  • provide walking escort assistance to persons as needed
  • handle queries from the public and customers
  • perform general administrative and clerical support duties as needed
  • receive and sort deliveries as needed
  • provide age-specific assistance/services to patients and families of toddlers through geriatrics as needed
  • perform other duties as assigned
  • comply with all policies and standards
  • abide by all requirements to safely and securely maintain Protected Health Information (PHI)
