  • Previous experience in a receptionist or administrative role preferred

  • Ability to handle emergency situations calmly

  • Ability to interact positively with residents and staff

Job Duties

  • Answer phone calls and represent the facility in a professional manner
  • Respond to resident questions or inquiries
  • Respond to emergency calls from residents
  • Type communications
  • Create new files as needed
  • Keep information updated and communicated
  • Assist facility staff with special projects and assignments
  • Assist in the dining room when needed
  • Conduct facility tours for potential residents and their families
  • Assist with organizing special events, prepare sign-in sheets, and coordinate public relations
  • Greet new residents and coordinate upcoming appointments
  • Be acquainted with emergency and disaster plans and equipment
  • Be available and visible
  • interact with residents
  • Record and report significant information on a potential resident's visit or call
  • Assist in the collection of monthly rent from residents
  • File bills and send out bills when asked
  • Coordinate transportation of residents as needed
  • Perform other duties as assigned
