Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous office or hospital experience
- Experience with geriatric residents
- Current California driver’s license
- No serious driving convictions
- Insurable by the District's insurance carrier
- Effective communication skills in English
- Ability to file accurately
- Proficiency with Word software
- Ability to manage multiple assignments
- Good judgement and emotional stability
- Ability to work under stress
- Teamwork skills
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous office or hospital experience preferred
- Experience with geriatric residents preferred
- Current California driver’s license with no convictions for serious driving violations
- Insurable by the District’s insurance carrier
- Effective communication skills with spoken English and handwritten notes
- Positive public appearance
- Ability to file accurately both alphabetically and numerically
- Demonstrated ability to use Word software
- Ability to organize multiple assignments with accuracy
- Good judgment under stress
- Initiative, emotional stability, tact and poise
- Willingness to follow the LVMC modified requirements as needed
Job Duties
- Accurately prioritize and announce facility-wide codes
- Appropriately identify situations requiring attention and seek assistance from Directors and Administrator
- Answer telephone calls and greet visitors
- Provide information and escort visitors when needed
- Collect and distribute mail within the facility
- Process resident mail for activity staff
- Assist the Administrative Secretary and Admissions Coordinator
- Assist with admission packet assembly
- Process certified mail
- Perform other duties assigned by the Administrator
