Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 1 year of customer service or receptionist experience
- Ability to work effectively with internal and external customers maintaining a professional demeanor
- Ability to use telecommunication devices to direct calls
- Excellent command of verbal and written English
- Adherence to confidentiality policies and HIPAA regulations
- Ability to problem-solve with creative and critical thinking
- Detail oriented with prioritization skills
- Self-starter with ability to work independently
- Ability to multi-task and handle interruptions in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to effectively communicate with all age levels served
- Must be able to perform essential functions without risking health and safety
- Availability to float to other practice locations with mileage reimbursement
Job Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of customer service or receptionist experience
- Excellent command of verbal and written English
- Positive interpersonal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to adhere to confidentiality policies in line with HIPAA
- Creative and critical thinking skills for problem-solving
- Detail oriented with the ability to prioritize tasks
- Self-starter with independent work capability
- Basic technology skills including Microsoft Office
- Experience with Workday is a plus
- High school diploma or equivalent
Job Duties
- Greet and direct visitors and patients to appropriate destinations within the hospital
- Follow guidelines regarding the disclosure of confidential information in accordance with HIPAA regulations
- Perform clerical and receptionist duties according to hospital and departmental policies
- Use telecommunication devices to receive and route incoming calls to departments or patient rooms
- Maintain a professional and composed demeanor as the hospital's initial representative
- Handle multiple tasks and interruptions effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Collaborate with internal and external customers with positive interpersonal communication
