Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in office or customer service preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively in person and over the phone
- Proficiency with technology and practice management software
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills

Job Qualifications
- High School Diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Prior course work or on-the-job training in dentistry, insurance, or business preferred
- Knowledge of office practices, technology applications, and patient insurances
- Energetic self-starter with ability to set and meet realistic goals
- Flexible, empathetic, passionate, and ethical patient advocate
- Detail-oriented, data-driven, organized, and computer proficient
- Financially literate with understanding of profit drivers and market competition
- Skilled influencer and active listener
- Self-motivated and reliable with excellent interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to handle confidential patient records
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Job Duties

- Support the Perfect Patient Experience process by assisting patients to come into the office and ensuring comfort during their visit
- Schedule appointments to ensure healthcare providers have smooth, productive days
- Interact and communicate with patients and guests in the reception area during their wait time
- Answer telephones promptly and handle calls efficiently and thoroughly
- Complete all tasks on the front office checklist daily
- Post payments to patient accounts in accordance with company policies
- Serve as subject matter expert in practice management system for patient registration and account accuracy
- Efficiently manage patient check-in obtaining necessary consents and notifying back office of patient arrivals
- Confirm all patient appointments according to office policies at least two days in advance
- Return and resolve all patient messages from the Contact Center timely
- Actively participate in daily morning huddles, monthly team meetings and other required meetings
- Understand and contribute to business metrics and imperatives
- Demonstrate stewardship of the PDS Brand and adhere to the brand framework
- Support clinician efforts on patient education regarding the Mouth-Body Connection
- Maintain professional appearance and demeanor
- Ensure compliance with Company policies and regulatory requirements
- Perform other duties as assigned
