  • Currently enrolled in cosmetology or barber school
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and peak salon times
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Basic computer skills including handling online check-in systems

Job Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in cosmetology or barber school
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Customer service experience preferred
  • Basic cash handling skills
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Friendly and professional demeanor
  • Knowledge of salon operations is a plus

Job Duties

  • Warmly greet customers
  • Communicate and educate customers on Great Clips processes, online check-in and the wait time monitor
  • Process transactions and issue receipts
  • Have general knowledge of retail products and make recommendations
  • Manage the flow of customers between check in and service
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the front desk and lobby area
  • Manage answering phone
  • Inform customers about services
  • Update customer records with contact information
  • Assist stylists in maintaining salon cleanliness and sanitation
  • Commit to work a flexible schedule, including peak times
  • Dedicate to great customer service
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Efficiently and effectively resolve customer issues
