Job Description
This position is offered by a school district that includes K-8, middle, high school levels, as well as a central office team supporting the educational and operational framework across all school sites. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Considerable knowledge of general office procedures and processes
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Familiarity with Google Apps
- Excellent customer service skills
- Effective time management skills
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely both orally and in writing
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with school staff, students, parents, external agencies, vendors, and the community

- Experience in a clerical related field preferred

Job Duties
- Perform general office duties to support school or office activities
- Receive telephone calls and greet visitors
- Process incoming and outgoing mail
- Assist other staff and respond to requests for information
- Maintain and update records
- Prepare documents
- Administer medication to students according to policies and procedures
- Maintain an organized health room including ordering health supplies and providing first aid treatment to students as needed
- Notify employees of visitors, mail, or other materials
- Assist administrators and staff with typing and word processing tasks
- Maintain routine files and records related to student records and instructional materials
- Supervise and respond to students' needs and contact parents or guardians as necessary
- Perform other related duties as assigned
