Job Description

This position is offered by a school district that includes K-8, middle, high school levels, as well as a central office team supporting the educational and operational framework across all school sites. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Considerable knowledge of general office procedures and processes
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Familiarity with Google Apps
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Effective time management skills
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely both orally and in writing
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with school staff, students, parents, external agencies, vendors, and the community

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in a clerical related field preferred
  • Considerable knowledge of general office procedures and processes
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Familiarity with Google Apps

  • Ability to communicate clearly orally and in writing
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting

Job Duties

  • Perform general office duties to support school or office activities
  • Receive telephone calls and greet visitors
  • Process incoming and outgoing mail
  • Assist other staff and respond to requests for information
  • Maintain and update records
  • Prepare documents
  • Administer medication to students according to policies and procedures
  • Maintain an organized health room including ordering health supplies and providing first aid treatment to students as needed
  • Notify employees of visitors, mail, or other materials
  • Assist administrators and staff with typing and word processing tasks
  • Maintain routine files and records related to student records and instructional materials
  • Supervise and respond to students' needs and contact parents or guardians as necessary
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
