  • Experience working in a dental medical or other healthcare office
  • Knowledge of insurance plans is a plus

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information

Job Duties

  • Acknowledge smile and greet patients upon arrival and dismissal
  • Respond to patient questions and concerns
  • Answer telephones and manage incoming calls
  • Schedule appointments and maintain the appointment book
  • Confirm appointments and follow up on no-shows or cancellations
  • Register patients on the sign-in sheet
  • Post charges and payments to patient accounts
  • Check voicemail daily
  • Maintain a clean and friendly waiting area for patients
  • Assist patients with completing necessary forms and documentation
  • Verify and update patient information in the system
  • Coordinate with dental staff to ensure smooth patient flow and minimize waiting times
  • Handle patient inquiries regarding billing and insurance
  • Provide information about dental services and procedures
  • Manage office supplies and ensure the reception area is well stocked
  • Assist with administrative tasks as needed such as filing data entry and record keeping
