Job Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Six months to one year related experience and/or training
- Ability to read and interpret procedural manuals
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
- Strong verbal communication skills
- Mathematical skills including ability to calculate discounts, interest, commissions, percentages
- Skill and ability to operate a computer
- Skill and ability to organize, prioritize, and meet deadlines
- Ability to use company software
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions
- Ability to sit and use hands for computer and telephone tasks
- Ability to talk, hear and reach with hands and arms
- Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds
- Ability to adjust vision focus
- Ability to work in a quiet office environment with frequent computer monitor exposure

Job Duties
- Answers incoming calls and directs the caller to the appropriate person or department
- if asked for by name
- Communicates with callers in a professional, courteous and efficient manner
- Minimizes time a caller is on hold
- Informs caller if there is no answer and offers voicemail
- Takes messages including full name, time, reason and return number
- Communicates messages to appropriate party in a timely manner
- Provides callers with company information such as address, directions, fax numbers, and website
- Updates and distributes company telephone roster
- Greets and directs visitors to the company
- Receives, sorts and forwards incoming mail
- Maintains and routes publications
- Coordinates pick-up and delivery of express mail services like FedEx or UPS
- Assists with clerical duties such as photocopying, faxing, filing and collating
