Job Requirements

  • High school graduate
  • minimum six months of receptionist or clerical experience
  • ability to communicate effectively in person and by phone
  • experience with multi-line telephone systems preferred
  • proficiency in using computers and office equipment
  • knowledge of basic office procedures
  • ability to multitask and prioritize duties efficiently

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum six months of experience performing receptionist or general clerical duties
  • experience communicating with the public by telephone and in person
  • experience with operation of a multi-line telephone system preferred
  • experience handling a high volume of calls with courtesy, speed, and accuracy
  • experience with computer and other standard office equipment
  • knowledge of basic office procedures
  • experienced with MS Office
  • high school graduate

Job Duties

  • Answer all incoming calls and direct them to the appropriate individual or department
  • take messages and handle caller inquiries when possible
  • open the building and retrieve general voicemail messages received during non-business hours and direct to appropriate personnel
  • greet incoming visitors, determine the nature of their business, and notify relevant individuals or departments
  • pick up, date-stamp, sort, and deliver incoming and outgoing mail and correspondence
  • assist in planning and preparing meetings and scheduling conference rooms
  • perform general data entry functions as required
  • maintain the general filing system and file all correspondence
  • monitor and maintain adequate inventory of office supplies
