Job Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of customer service or receptionist experience
- Ability to work effectively with internal and external customers while maintaining a professional demeanor
- Ability to use telecommunication devices to direct calls
- Excellent command of verbal and written English
- Adherence to confidentiality of protected patient and employee information in compliance with HIPAA
- Ability to problem-solve using critical thinking
- Detail oriented with ability to prioritize tasks
- Self-starter with ownership and ability to work independently
- Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to communicate effectively with all age levels served
- Ability to perform essential functions without posing safety threats

Job Duties
- Greet and direct visitors and patients to appropriate destinations
- Follow rules and guidelines regarding confidential information disclosure
- Perform clerical and receptionist duties according to hospital and departmental policies
- Use telecommunication devices to receive and direct incoming calls
- Maintain professional demeanor as the hospital's initial representative
- Handle multiple tasks and interruptions efficiently
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations regarding protected information
