Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of two years experience in guest services preferred
  • Strong communication skills with an outgoing personality and willingness to engage with Residents
  • Ability to work part-time hours
  • Capacity to adhere to department uniform, appearance, and grooming standards
  • Compliance with OSHA safety regulations and local health and safety laws
  • Ability to provide excellent customer service consistently
  • Basic computer skills for handling scheduling and reservation systems

Job Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of two years experience in guest services preferred

  • Ability to deliver exceptional customer service
  • Proficient in handling multi-line telephone systems
  • Familiarity with basic administrative and clerical procedures
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Patience and a positive attitude when interacting with elderly residents

Job Duties

  • Greet all Residents, Team Members, and guests in a professional manner and direct to the appropriate location, serving as the initial contact and resource for the community
  • Answer incoming telephone calls in a cheerful manner, determine purpose of callers, and forward calls to appropriate personnel or department
  • Perform all duties and responsibilities with a positive attitude
  • Receive inquiries and release information in accordance with established policies and procedures
  • Assist with screening and registering visitors to the community
  • Notify appropriate personnel if suspicious behavior is observed
  • Assist with the processing of work-orders for Residents and ensure information is communicated to the correct department
  • Maintain Campus Calendar production and distribution
  • Maintain and sort assigned mail for the mailroom
  • Support guest room reservation system and check-ins
  • Assist with scheduling Resident transportation including doctor’s visits and events
  • Deliver a memorable first impression of hospitality
  • Maintain a high level of communication and feedback to ensure information is passed in a timely manner
  • Communicate any challenges, complaints or service difficulties to immediate supervisor
  • Meet department uniform, appearance, and grooming requirements
  • Comply with all OSHA safety regulations and local applicable laws regarding health, safety, or environment
