Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience in customer service or front desk role preferred
  • strong organizational skills
  • ability to communicate clearly and professionally

  • ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously

Job Duties

  • Manage the telephone and switchboard
  • operate paging/telephone system as required
  • answer calls timely and courteously
  • direct calls promptly and accurately
  • assist visitors upon arrival by greeting them courteously and providing directions
  • ensure all visitors/vendors sign in
  • demonstrate customer service skills including smiling, greeting effectively, and offering assistance
  • maintain a neat and orderly work area
  • perform other clerical duties such as assisting with special projects, mail handling, filing, preparing informational packets, ordering supplies, and data entry
  • attend in-service education programs
  • maintain confidentiality of resident and facility information
  • protect residents from neglect, mistreatment, and abuse
  • protect the personal property of residents
  • perform duties as directed by supervisor or administrator
