Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of two years of customer service, hospitality, senior services, or related experience preferred
- Ability to obtain CPR/First Aid certification if not already certified
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Dependability and strong time management
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize workload
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum of two years of customer service, hospitality, senior services, or related experience preferred
- Two years of post-secondary education may substitute for experience
- CPR/First Aid certification preferred or ability to obtain
- Friendly, outgoing, flexible, and positive personality
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Ability to work cooperatively with residents, staff, and visitors while maintaining patience, courtesy, and professionalism
- Commitment to resident rights, safety, and confidentiality
- Dependable with strong time management and accountability
- Comfortable listening to resident, family, or visitor concerns and escalating issues appropriately
Job Duties
- Greet all residents, guests, and visitors with warmth, professionalism, and a service-focused attitude
- Provide directions and general campus navigation assistance
- Answer and route incoming calls using a multi-line phone system
- Take accurate messages as needed
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception desk and lobby area
- Stay informed of community events, calendars, and activities to appropriately guide residents and guests
- Distribute flyers, memos, and other communications to resident mailboxes
- Update the resident informational phone line daily
- Maintain and update the Resident Absence Log
- Receive, tag, log, and distribute packages
- Notify residents or departments of deliveries
