Job Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Completed a secretarial science program or six months clerical experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and email
- Knowledge of post-acute care facility laws and regulations
- Ability to make independent decisions
- Maintain confidentiality
- Follow company policies and procedures
- Uphold professional working relationships
- Demonstrate regular attendance and dependability
- Physically able to perform duties including sitting, standing, bending, lifting, pushing, pulling, stooping, walking, and reaching
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
Job Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Successfully completed a secretarial science program from an accredited college or university OR have a minimum of six months experience in a clerical role
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and email
- Knowledgeable of practices, procedures, laws, regulations, and guidelines governing functions in a post-acute care facility
- Ability to make independent decisions when necessary
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to company policies including harassment and compliance procedures
- Demonstrates integrity and professionalism in line with Life Care's Code of Conduct
Job Duties
- Serve as the first point of contact for guests and visitors in person and via phone in a friendly and professional manner
- Effectively operate the facility phone and paging system
- Exhibit excellent customer service and a positive attitude towards patients
- Assist in the evacuation of patients
- Demonstrate dependable, regular attendance
- Concentrate and use reasoning skills and good judgment
- Communicate and function productively on an interdisciplinary team
- Sit, stand, bend, lift, push, pull, stoop, walk, reach, and move intermittently during working hours
- Read, write, speak, and understand the English language
