Job Requirements

  • HS diploma/GED or verifiable work experience in lieu of education
  • one year of experience in an office setting
  • current and valid driver’s license in state of employment
  • ability to drive for company business with localized travel up to 10% required
  • strong interpersonal skills
  • reliable and professional demeanor
  • ability to maintain confidentiality and follow security procedures

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED or verifiable work experience in lieu of education
  • one year of experience in an office setting
  • experience in the medical field is a plus
  • associate's degree preferred
  • one year experience working in substance use and/or mental health field preferred
  • excellent customer service and communication skills
  • strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • proficiency with standard office software and electronic health records systems
  • ability to work effectively in a team environment

Job Duties

  • Welcome visitors and patients by greeting them in person or on the telephone
  • answer or refer inquiries
  • responsible for cash collection and daily balancing
  • perform clerical functions including typing, filing, mail and correspondence flow, and electronic organization of files
  • manage daily phone coverage
  • comply with all policies and applicable procedures
  • maintain security by following procedures, monitoring logbook, and checking in visitors
  • coordinate appointments for patients
  • communicate relevant information to supervisory team regarding patients and the facility
  • manage accounts receivable, accounts payable, and deposits
  • maintain a safe and clean reception area by complying with policies and regulations
  • process intakes, assist guests, upload documents in HER/EMR, and coordinate with billing for private insurance
  • attend team meetings and complete all required training courses timely
  • perform other duties as assigned
