Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be available weekends 2 p.m. to 7 p.m.
- Ability to cover for admissions coordinator during breaks
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to screen and manage visitor access
- Capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously
- Experience with phone systems and paging
- Ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous receptionist experience preferred
Job Duties
- Screen visitors to the appropriate location ensuring security
- Inform all visitors to sign in and wear a visitor's pass
- Cover for the admissions coordinator during breaks and other times
- Connect and transfer calls to appropriate parties
- Perform overhead paging
- Notify admissions coordinator when a customer requests a tour
- Obtain wheelchairs for patients
- Report unusual behavior in the lobby or parking area to facilities
- Notify nursing when gifts for patients arrive
- Postmark outgoing mail and distribute incoming mail
- Log all incoming job applications
